Wrong for CTO it will take 5-6 years, for AC it ll take after 20 years and lastly retirement (As AC will work for only 4-5 years), Deputy commissioners are IAS cadre, joint commissioners will always be IAS officers which they are called zonal officers

U are confused with revenue and commercial tax department, after ACCT, next promotion is DCCT..

@@Foresightkas yes next promotion is DCCT but it doesn't applies to group C CTI cadre... Directly those who are appointed as CTO are eligible for promotion till DCCT
