Well, you won't have to worry about that with me when we break up. Dated for about a month and a half, nothing serious, when we happen across an ex of hers at a car show. She then proceeds to spend the entire time texting him. So, I can see that I'm not worth her time, so I take her home, and tell her I'm out. She then starts texting me at 3am, telling me that she's breaking up with me. Ok. Have a nice life. Don't text me again. Finally had to block her number.

I've had a similar experience as the last guy just a week ago. I've turned down a woman I've known for a while (single mom). She was nice for a bit but when I have made it clear that I am not interested in dating a single mom she went ballistic. First she accused me of being gay because that is apparently the only reason I would not be interested in her. When that didn't work, she screamed at me that I am a loner and that she hopes I die alone. Women really cannot handle rejection at all. Funny thing is, I was interested in her a couple of years ago but back then I was not good enough I suppose. Bullet dodged.

The one girl saying she “is always up for a free meal” is why I stopped asking girls out to dinner when I was younger. I simply couldn’t afford it anymore - take a girl out and pay for everything, only to have her not call, etc. I started asking girls to go for a coffee or a drink. That way I’d be out maybe $20 max. If there’s no chemistry or spark, cool. She didn’t waste her time, I didn’t go broke, and I suspected there was more than one out there that used me for, “a free meal”. I met my wife by first meeting for a drink. We liked each other and agreed to meet later. When she showed up, I was glad to see her. She told me later she didn’t think I’d show up either. When I did she knew there was something there. 18 months later we married. This year marks 25 years of marriage.

I’m very introverted so I don’t get asked out by guys so this one time I had the courage to ask my crush. I asked him out and he rejected me. He was nice about it and he told me the reason why he still talks to me is because Im cool and didn’t bother him about it. Not all women are the same and I think men and women take rejection differently and that rejection kinda messed me up a bit but it made me work on myself more. Speaking on my behalf I’m a guy (who’s currently 18) and also introverted. I never really had the guts to ever ask out girls that I liked in middle school or high school. This is so great. Women will often reject great guys, and often for things that are so minor in the grand scheme of things. Society has put women on the pedestal, and all women above a 4 on the looks scale have been handed the keys to life on easy mode.
