When You Are Waiting To Get Something Wrong
Sometimes it can feel like a particular event or circumstance is inevitable and that no matter how much, we don't want it, it is going to come anyway.
I can remember feeling like this a lot at school as I was always sure that I would get something wrong and receive a thorough shaming from the teacher because I was seemingly unable to understand what he was explaining to me.
This led to me feeling anxiety, terror and like I had no control over the situation and so I was always waiting to get something wrong and receive the punishment that I thought was inevitable.
In today's video, I talk about how this experience is re-emerging in my guitar practice and how I am beginning to overcome the whole pattern because of how I am choosing to respond rather than react.
