aside from the timing issue at the start of the song, this was very good. i also liked that you went for the theatrical version. i mean Mariah and Whitney did an excellent job, but their glossy pop version lacks the raw emotion behind the lyrics.

With all respect, the cover sounds kinda robotic compared to the Whitney and Mariah version, which has more feeling, and very beautiful riffs and runs. I guess that’s why not every good singer is a star, you can sing correctly and be academic all you want, but still lack the feeling in the voice or the character and charisma, also you almost don’t hear the guy so there’s no balance in the vocals.

The song is from 'The Prince of Egypt' and was originally written for the musical genre. Mariah and Whitney have a huge gospel background which they were able to infuse into the pop version they released as the OST. It's really sad that you compare our voices to the two most famous singers in the world rather than understanding and appreciating the process of artistic interpretation. If you listen to a song with the expectation that the artist will be a carbon copy of the person who got it famous, you miss everything that the artist has to offer the world and the music.

@@noahgoldsworthy1159 I can appreciate beautiful covers, in fact I have many covers on my list that I think are greater than the original song, I can appreciate a beautiful performance, but if you wanna put out a cover of a Mariah and Whitney song, it should be at least as interesting, if not better! Otherwise what’s the point? Did they make the song more interesting? No! Am I ever gonna listen to it again? Probably no! If Georgina doesn’t wanna be compared to anyone, and she doesn’t have the vision to tell if doing this cover was really a good idea, then she could sing only in the shower instead, or maybe close the comments section at least.
