in hard mode the most OP item is the light saber as it bypasses armor, and enemies have a ton of it. also it is pretty fast and deal decent damage.

The wings go well with a pair of boots (believe the wring boots that add damage for how long you are in the air) and that final red scythe. That with the 2 healing per critical hit will kill most things before they get close. Plus with a sniper secondary you could avoid damage from some enemies or bosses. Just incase you were doing this again

Bullet Splitter splits your damage across each split, which kinda hard tanks your DPS when you aren't hitting with every projectile. It's more a thing to get on things like the minigun, shotguns, rocket launcher, or any fast reload/fire rate gun/projectile weapon.

Tip for first boss use a ranged weapon and run on the floor the boss bugs and only shoots sword which are dodgeable by moving to the side

Lasley is the furthest I have gotten in hard mode, may try again at some point. That involved Blood of Srobeo with an uzi and Riot Shield... Blessing of the Sage, Magnifying Glass, some real luck on food to get +3 true damage, an additional +1 toughness and reload speed down to 0.5 seconds. I also had the cream that gives immunity to damage for 0.2 seconds on dash. Defense ended out not being quiet so high at around 50 but it is still an extremely tanky build. It also requires getting decent crit chance and basically just healing through everything. That is the best I legitimately got on hard mode.
