@@aaaaaah7604 easy. no mortal can harness the true potential of flex tape, not even phil swift. phil swift has achieved however the closest he could to its true potential by sawing reality itself in half. when he did this though, he accidentally sawed a single flex tape in half. well, tried to. and this made flex tape learn that not even its most loyal followers were to be trusted, therefore, in fear of empowering them too much, it only lets them use a fraction of its power.

@@aaaaaah7604 i think you misunderstood what i wrote. flex tape is the strongest thing, in that we agree yes. but if you read carefully you'd see that phil swift attempted to saw flex tape itself in half when sawing reality in half. flex tape noticed and understood that had phil swift been harnessing flex tape at that moment, he would've erased everything from existence. and phil swift is the most loyal mortal there is. therefore, flex tape understands now that no matter how loyal a mortal is, they will become a threat to the multiverse if they harness the full power of flex tape. therefore, "playing it safe" as some would say, it decides to give mortals just a minuscule fraction of its power. alas, the tape these guys use does not possess the complete power of flex tape, rather a small part.
