He's in a hotel, while he sorts out an apartment, and then moving in there. I think you can stay for a few months (60-90days) without a visa run. At least that's what it was for some guys I used to work with that based themselves in Thailand ~15 years ago.

Our Scott got a freshly made large Pizza from his regular Pizza Takeaway in Hanoi last week Darren... He arrived at the Takeaway at 3am... Walked the short distance back home to his apartment... Check out Wandering Where, Englishman lived in Thailand for 10 years, then back in the UK for 10 years, and just returned to Thailand, his first video there this time was very interesting, basically the slums of Bangkok now he is in Chang Mi, interesting guy,if you really want to see the real Thailand I think this guy is knowledgeable.He has a Thai wife, and 2 boys they are home in England.
