Going back to Genshin's traversal is kinda hard now with all the tools at your disposal at WuWa. You don't even need specific four or five stars to run faster or climb vertically.

Sure, but I feel like the fast traversing of WuWa also has its downside because it doesn't make you soak in the environment. It's good at first, but I think it'll get boring pretty fast cause it'll get too repetitive because one of the main features of Genshin is enjoying the landscape. But we'll see in the future how it'll go.

Environment design is part of the problem too. The aesthetic od Jinzhou feels forced and patched from different concepts, ideas, regions and timeline. During cbt2, they actually promoted their in game sceneries which look fine on photos but after playing the real game I just felt cheated

I still prefer Genshin personally cos I like the characters more, whereas in WuWa most of them I dislike, but the attack combos you can do in it are really interesting to learn especially as a past Beidou main(and being able to turn into a motorbike is also cool)

Definitely, also I personally prefer Genshin's clothing inspirations over WuWa's more futuristic approach. Also, the grey undertones for everything in WuWa bums me out for some reason. Even The Last of Us, an apocalyptic zombie game, doesn't use grey and brown but leans into green, yellow and blue to emphasize the scenery. That being said, I prefer WuWa proportions. It's not obvious with Genshin's tall female model, but with everybody else they tend to have comically wide heads (really noticeable with Lyney and the chibi)

@@xxx-ms4yr i'd definitely have played the game more if it wasn't for the constant freezes and crashes, mind you. i'll probably try it on and off but a majority of what i've heard about anything besides the combat, and maybe the exploration, is negative. you're free to like the game, but the game has very glaring issues and I happen to be an exceedingly critical person. if you like it, that's okay, but i played it for a few hours and everything besides the combat was a huge turn-off, for me and seemingly a lot of people. saying the "story clears X" is also waaay too subjective to be something you say like that lol, but i won't get into that.

Made some room on my PC and downloaded it yesterday but still haven't played it. I dread the beginning part after watching a VTuber play it for an hour. It dragged on and on and. . . Yangyang's voice is, well, uh, not pleasant for me. But anyway, the cool dodging and ability to attack in mid-air is something I actually miss from Kingdom Hearts. I grew up playing a lot of JRPGs with tiny super deformed characters, so when Kingdom Hearts came out it was everything I wanted in a game. I could jump, swim, climb, glide (sort of), and do 'live combat' verses entering into a new plane/area. Kingdom Hearts just 'ruined' other games for me, spoiled me with all its cool features. Whenever I see people compare Wuthering Waves to Genshin Impact, with most playing 'dirty politician' with their smear campaigns, all I can think of is: "Have these people ever played anything other than Genshin and WuWa?" I will assume the answer is 'No, they haven't.' There are other games out there, people; if you don't like Genshin anymore or the company that makes it, that's fine, but please stop with the dirty politic acts. No body likes those. I have my own channel that I won't even be putting up WuWa videos simply because I'm getting tired of the pointless hate for one game and blind love for another. For Wuthering Waves, I really liked how the characters swap out, it's so smooth it's almost magical. And that ability to fight by jumping and attacking also sold it for me. But, I really just wanted to explore a new world. Some of WuWa looks kinda ugly (liked dead or war-torn), but other places looked really pretty. And it has bunnies! Ahh~! So cute! Come on, Hoyoverse, give us bunnies in Genshin Impact. Yaoyao's and Amber's bunnies don't count. Update: I now have a point of view of coming back to Genshin after playing WuWa . . . "I miss you, my love!" Gah, the lag struggle is real with Wuthering Waves and after looking into it, I'm glad I'm not the only one. I guess I must have a potato laptop because I barely got to do much of the cool stuff because my screen would freeze if I moved around too much. Didn't have to worry about Yangyang's voice, because the sound didn't work for the characters, music, sound effects. Only now and then did I get to hear the characters talk. So frustrating, since the VTuber I watched had no issues with the sound or lagging.

I’m going back and fourth between the games. Aside from the convenience factors of WW, the higher quality of Genshin is very evident. From the graphics, to the music, to the voice acting, the story, the smooth animations and less choppy gameplay, the unique character designs, every sound effect…Genshin is just far better where it counts. The combat is the most unique aspect, but honestly elemental reactions are more intuitive and make character synergies easier to understand and more fun in my opinion. WW is a good game, but unfortunately they copied too much from a game that outshines it considerably.

wuwa definitely started the war first by releasing their first video of the protagonist using the wind glinder and exploring - trying to get Genshin's players attention which attracts attack from Genshin players of course because it looked super similar to Genshin back then. After that people start to know this game being the 'copy of genshin', then after cbt1 they quickly sweep it off like nothing. It works though, they get fame from that

ping doesn't affect ur parry or dodge. its on client side not server side ping only affects in coop

The moment I saw that Wuwa doesn't have any elemental reactions is the moment I say damn I wasted my time downloading this? It's basically just a generic action hack and slash (the combat is great I tell you that) but I already have an open world game with a majestic environment and a great Action hack and slash game (Aether Gazer).
