Honestly the person I am isn’t the person I would like to be but what’s most different is that I can’t change I want to go to a higher level in my faith and become sanctified and just start living more for Jesus each day but I just don’t see change and that’s the hardest thing for me when I just reflect each day in my prayer time and all of me wants change but I just don’t see myself changing bc of the distractions of this world and my inability to just slow down and follow the WAY and join the yoke of Jesus

You might not feel like you’ve changed yet but if you stay consistent in seeking Jesus, he will change you. Remember Jesus said “seek and you shall find”. The devil will try to convince you that you are never going to be able to be closer to Jesus. But this is not true. God is always with you. He’s never left you and will never forsake you. Earlier today I thought in my heart, and then said out loud - "I'm tired of this life". And it wasn't coming from a desire for self-harm or suicide or even to end it all, but a desire for change... This sermon came up in my feed later on and it was The Spirit groaning in the words that I could not, in those earlier moments, properly describe. We can really be well-intentioned and just be so wrong about the "how" that we end up frustrating ourselves and the move of God in us and through us. Thank you Pastor Craig for this Word that was perfect in the "how" of its delivery and right on time for a wretched saved-sinner like me. God continue to bless the ministry that He has birthed and is working through Life Church and your leadership 🙏🏽

Cast your cares on God, forgive everyone for any wrongs (because you deserve to be free of it… the pain…give it to him to collect on that debt) pray for forgiveness and let it all go.. you will find peace… However you will be under spiritual attacks as Satan will do everything he can to shake your faith.. He uses your mind and your thoughts emotions against you. Thank you for this. Every day I get up I'm seeking God I'm praying I'm worshipping Him and I feel like I'm doing everything right and yet I'm always in combat mode fighting through this world. So I’ve been going through the wildest time of my life the past 5 months or so. No job worthy of much and feeling like a complete failure in this life as I have failed twice at just 27 years old. Without my family I would have 150% been on the streets at this point but they’ve helped me get enough to keep floating. Well I’ve always been that “casual Christian” where I wear a cross and actually have 2 tattooed on me. I went to church a little when I was a bit younger so it’s been quite a while since I’ve been in a service. Maybe a handful of times over the years. Last week I was truly at my breaking point. But I had a desire to find Jesus and had heard of Life Church. I doordash and Grubhub full time right now to make ends meet and I’m simply 1 flat tire away from being homeless. But I drive A LOT so last week I just started listening to the videos as I rode around for 8-10 hours a day. Yesterday I got a call with a job offer and I give that all to God. Anyways.. the whole point of me saying this is that I am on my way to the gym at the moment and was listening to this and I repeated the prayer at the end and I just started to cry as I said it out loud driving to the gym. I’m tearing up right now just trying this out. Thank you guys for what you guys do! I can’t wait to continue my journey with Jesus!

The area of my life that looks most different from Jesus, is that I compose music on a laptop in 2024. Believed in Jesus since I was 6, went back to church when I was 12 kinda like Jesus and Samuel, went back to church when I was 15 or 16, then a decade of darkness, found Jesus again and accepted him as lord and savior at 26 and have been devoted to him for ten years so far. OMG this is amazing. I have been fasting and praying for a while now and for the past 4 to 5 dayd i have been feeling a littke deeplited and down. And last night was the highlight I failed to even finish a chapter i was reading. But in my spirit this morning I knew and felt like i eant more of Jesus. Like something is missing then I watched a tiktok talking about how we never acknowledge how following christ can actually affect us and why we never talk about dealing with that change and how to maintain it without feeling like we are tiring away.
