Ups and downs happen for us all, its part of being human. Accepting yourself and living as an out gay man is not an easy thing to do, and that there are down times is understandable, but it's important to remember how much progress you have made and that those most important to you love and accept you. I was especially touched by the stories of your straight male friends. You are doing great Johnny.

Johnny, healthy and cleansing is what your basement experience was for you! All that self-hate, negativity from others, social put-downs in words and acts had built up to a toxic level in your psyche and soul. By uncontrollable crying you were releasing all that psychic and physical toxin in your body! That is so good. Once your mind has been cleansed of negative toxicity and nourished with positive affirmations about yourself, you began to heal and now are growing in a very productive and successful way. You have so much going for you, bro! I would suggest that you make a list of the top ten positive things in your life, things you are proud of, carry that list with you and when you feel yourself getting down, read the list. Thank you for reaching out to others who may still be in the process of trying to get back up.

Great videos. Had to do a marathon in one night thanks LOL. You left the audience hanging with the second part of your brother's story. Unless I missed it please advice. Kudos to you for the sharing of your emotions and how sensitive you are, that passion comes out clear and soundly. You are making a positive difference to humanity and the LGBTQ community at large. Mate you are an inspiration. I'm a 20 year old living in the UK working as an LGBT outreach worker. You are the type of guy that inspires those who do not fit the stereotypical persona of a homosexual that society has put on people. Homosexuals are not just the out-spoken camp queens or feminine males: We can be teachers, soldiers, fathers and other roles that people do not associate with homosexuality. You are an amazing man with a journey ahead of you but just know that people do watch your vlogs and you are making a difference in this world. You are an amazing man with great confidence and I am so grateful you decided to be true to who you are. You are a valued member of the LGBT community and I wish you all the happiness that life has to offer. Equality is a thing to strive for but never achieve but the fight must never stop.

I think you are truly a wonderful person and I wish you all the best. I am 33 and continue to struggle almost daily and it is not easy; it can be a very, very lonely existence. Great song. I loved it, made me tear up. And congratulations man!! I'm bisexual and I'm still in the closet. Only people that know are all my friends. I just had to come out to them, because I believe if ur in the closet because of your sexuality u need a support group. Just knowing some people and thousands of millions of other people the same as me makes me stronger and happy. Hopefully one day I'm able to come out to my family and be accepted.
