My son just told me this last year and my son is 34 years old and has been struggling with drug addiction for years. He has used every drug you can imagine so by the grace of God he is still alive. It's so sad how drug addiction not only destroys the life of the user but alllllll their family as well. I pray your son calls out to God with true humility and repentance so that The Lord can change his life from the inside out. God bless you. 🙏

@@utube0372 my heart aches for you. For all us mothers and for our sons. Its so evil for someone to do these terrible things to others. My neighbours son was molested by an elderly man down the road, they thought he was harmless:( 30 years down the track and her son has refused to have children due to the abuse. satan comes to rob, kill, steal, destroy but Jesus came to give life and life more abundantly. We continue to weap before Gods throne of grace. We are not alone. God cares. God said to me one day that both His children rebelled, Adam & Eve, yet He is the perfect parent. We have free will. We must not blame ourselves. God saw our children being molested and He did not intervene as if He intervened on everyones sin He would be telling us all off, day and night. All of us have only to cross to save us. I will keep you in my prayers. Watch the testimonies of others to encourage you. You are loved and as mums we pray for one another and our sons. I have never fasted so much this year. In January I fasted for 24 days. As a result a covid19- afflicted sister woke up from her coma after 10 days. And she recovered miraculously.

When I fast, I've been advised to consult with my doctor first. I did not know how to respond to that... until recently. Now I will respond... "I did consult with my Doctor and He told me it's perfectly fine for me to fast. In fact, my Doctor fasted for 40 days in the wilderness, successfully resisting all temptation!"

I have known for many years that fasting gets u break throughs. I went on a 13 week fast with a group of others in my prayer circle. Many had praise reports. As for me I had never fasted so long 6 weeks was the longest. I was attacked repeatedly at work, in my finances, relationships with family, my car went down I was threatened with a garnishment. Depression & anxiety overwhelmed me & my physical health was under attack. This is week after my fast ended. I fought & won the garnishment. My car is STILL down but I have transportation to work. I did receive some overtime hours next month. The woman tormenting me & others at work has been silent & still lately. My physical health is bearable but my anxiety & depression I am STILL battling. I firmly believe my efforts were NOT in vain. I KNOW my break through is near and I am standing in faith waiting 4 my financial and emotional break through. My family seems more united there is one member I am still uncertain about but I know God WILL work it out!

Even Jesus didn’t fast for that long.Although I know that the devil will tempt you during a fast I believe that fasting for that long obviously weakens you and let’s the devil in much easier.

You shouldn't have Had to fight your garnishment issue AFTER your fast, something's not right here, different crosses are put in our lives for a reason to teach us certain things, and some things are there bcz we didn't make the right spiritual choices, depression is a demonic Attack BIND it ! We're told we'll suffer for the cross of Christ, l suffered for 35 yrs but finally now things are really improving, you can't, shouldn't even try to fast away what trials are sent you, Acts 14:22 through many trials & suffering shall we enter the kingdom of heaven, Jesus suffered who had No sin, Hebrews said: he was perfected through suffering the word Also says : a believers enemies are the members of his own household, another says: if you love a son or Daughter more than me you're not worthy of me, we're here to work out our salvation, don't fast without the guidance of the Holy spirit first, & check with him if this is required for you're specific request,? 💙

@@Balling4Jesus Jesus fasted for 40 days. After his fast he was attack by Satan, but that didn't stop his from believing his God. When the attack is heavy, because you hit the enemy on the head and they are retaliate. That's a good thing, don't feel down, continue to trust your God. The devil work is to make you loose hope, so he attack you because he knows you're suffering from depression and you keep claiming depression in your life, which is not good. he messing with your mind. Remember Jesus said resist the devil and he will flee from you. You resist him by saying the word of God. Example if the devil make you feel your fast is in vain, tell him, God said he will never leave me nor forsaken, all things works for my good. Who can declare a thing in my life and it come to pass when my Lord has not ordain it.

Fasting for at least 24 hours twice a week from food will change your lives. Give food up for 48 hours every week and pray to the Lord and praise him every time u get hungry knowing he is what we need and not food. True. Was on missionary journey for 7 mths. Was fasting and praying till the holy spirit of God accomplished miracles and healings. I was on spiritual warfare. God even canceled a court hearing. I arrived in my country before the outbreak of coronavirus in 2020. Praise God.

Ese77, I appreciated you sis. Since I stumbled on his videos including how he became God's holy teacher of words of God, I was completely contented and satisfied with his holy works. Whenever I listen to his recorded preachings, feels calm, changed and very informed doubtlessly. He was called while studying Bible in army barrack in Northern Africa during Second world war in 1940s as he testified. He was really chosen among others by the living God to turn people to his way. Fasting is very powerful, Jesus also fasted, it connects us more intensely with God, we become more receptive, it opens our ears and eyes, and it is a sort of praise to The Lord, which is powerful in every way, maybe the most through worship songs- music goes farther than our words, as with all of this: We must speak with our hearts. One of the most powerful things to fast from is social media. Turn of your phone, pc, and tv, and just be with Him for some days, maybe a weekend when you are free from work, Study, pray, sing, expect Him to be with you every second, and ask Him to what’s on His Heart- He loves to share with those who asks and stay with Him, not only some hours but willlive close to Him, and talk to Him every day. I resent _____ because ___ it affects my (self esteem, security, ambitions, personal relations, sex relations, financial) Then pray this prayer. "God, help me to see them as sick, like myself. Help me to show them the same tolerance, pity, and patience I would carefully Grant a sick friend. Show me how I can be helpful to them. We cannot be helpful to all people, but at least God will show us how to take a kind and tolerant view toward each and everyone. Putting out the mind the wrongs others have done we resolutely look for our own. Where were we selfish dishonest self-seeking or frightened? I'll guarantee this will take your resentments away. Can we ask God to remove our defects of character or sin and go make amends to them if need be or to god or whom ever we hurt... Only if it won't hurt them or others I do burnt offerings to god, direct amends if I need to. These are the steps by which we can live in harmony with god self and others.

This music brings tears to my eyes. God is wonderful, I can’t thank him enough. People who know me and my husband in our area. They know what we have been through and how long it took us to be successful and where we are at the moment. If you are familiar withe scriptures, I mean the word of God you can tell that Jesus always talked about destiny helpers and I met mine 6 years ago.. I met Mr Andrew in a church seminar 6 years ago. He is a young man with a good heart. God used him to change my life and the lives of people around us. It was a huge step we took and we do not regret it. I always talk about him everywhere pardon me. If you are out there and loosing hope I want you to know that God has plans for everyone of us. i feel my story should encourage a lot of people. If you have a weak constitution and fear you can’t manage a fast, I can testify that God will strengthen your body to allow you to live without food. I’m breastfeeding my baby and prior to coming to Christ I tried to lose weight; I would always shut down due to low blood sugar, have the shakes and cold sweats after around 18h without food. It was physically impossible for me to fast any longer because I would be on the verge of fainting and I’d feel like death. As I’m typing I’ve been fasting for 48h through the power of Christ and I feel perfectly fine! All the glory goes to Jesus of course, I asked Him to strengthen my body so I’d be able to fast and He delivered!

I believe eating a keto diet for at least a few weeks prior to your fasting will help a great deal with the low blood sugar problem which often plagues people when they first try to fast. Once your body becomes used to burning fat for energy instead of carbs, your blood sugar will remain stable and you will find fasting a lot easier. Another tip is to take half a tsp of salt, along with a magnesium supplement and a potassium supplement if you get a headache. The magnesium glycinate form of mg is more easily absorbed. You can always take an ibuprofen as well, if you need it.

I second the ketogenic diet a few weeks prior, and adding magnesium, sea salt or potassium supplements to water. In fact, I would imagine that water in Jesus’ time came from mineral rich clay soil, whereas now we may need to add minerals. It helps greatly. I would not suggest taking an NSAID. Perhaps for headaches add salt water and electrolytes first, then perhaps turmeric? Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you for what you need.

It's not as bad as having the flu, but the ibuprofen can be helpful during this stage. Once your body is adapted to the keto diet, I would think the fasting headache will be gone and you will be able to fast without the misery of the keto flu. The first time I tried to fast, I didn't know any of this stuff and I felt horrible. I had a headache all day and nothing would make it go away. After 23 hours, I ate dinner and went to bed. So I think eating keto for a few weeks is the key to easier fasting.

Fasting is not difficult if you persevere. Build it up hour by hour . First miss breakfast or leave it till and hour or two later . Then just gradually extend it by 30 mins even . Start eating something light at 4.00 for example. One day a week or longer for something special . K

I was advised by someone to eat before 9 then not to eat until after 5 when starting out. That was hard and sometimes still is. Still very powerful and God is faithful. The Holy Spirit is the one who said to me "fast." There are different fasts and let the Holy Spirit lead.

But I'm not working, if I were perhaps your approach would be better . Either way it's best to build it up,gradually, and it's better when you dedicate it to God . I fasted corporately for 21 days, eating in the evening, just after recovering from covid omicron in December into January. Im now trying to fast every Wednesday as it is so valuable. Praise God for a wonderful key and thanks to Derek Prince for his sermons. 🙏🏼👏🏻

We are... every first Sunday. This is our 4th month. Derek Prince inspired me and l began a fast for my country. To heal America . In January we are going to fast for the whole world. Thank you Derek for teaching me this important information.
