El True I got into a fight with my dad before. Because I didn't want to fight him I held back. If I wanted to I'm pretty sure I could overpower him. It's because our parents don't get that we're not kids anymore, and that's why you should just plan to move out if you are older.😂😂😂😂

in a traditional sense, this is how a lot of men in America come of age. When you are grown with to stop your Baba from beating u or your Mama, then you are grown. My dad was a little bitch so he had to stop before i was big enough to kill him. But if he wasn't such a wuss i might have actually done this kind of thing to him. It's fucked. Bro this is the realest sketch ever. Parents really think they can do whatever because they raised you. Like you asked to be born. That's their job, whether they want to admit it or not. Then get upset when their kids move out and never want to contact them. It's pathetic. Shoutout to all the folks that became adults and were able to rise above their trauma. Emotional abuse isn't covered nearly enough. Damn this shit hit hard

Grateful my dad and I never had to settle our shit like this. We only got in a physical altercation once, over the way he talked to my mom after she and I were in a car accident. I walked out before things escalated to real violence. He ended up calling and apologizing. He's a good man. This skit is actually v powerful. Seems like OP and a lot of people commenting are processing some real trauma through this. All I can say is I'm proud of y'all for facing your stuff. The only way we'll ever heal & grow is by breaking that cycle of mistreatment and becoming better men than our fathers. Godspeed to all y'all.

Bruh I literally had this happen between me and my father. My father is a man with a huge pride and ego. And it makes him not a pleasant person to be around. It’s always about power with him. My dads about 6” I’m 6’3 in a half he’s about 180 I’m about 250 so in every way physically I’m more superiors plus I’m 28 in my prime he’s 50, instead of Leading with wisdom, he always tried to lead with brute force with me. Well I finally pulled his card. I almost killed him. I could’ve a part of me wanted to But God always has his hands on me. So I spared and he pulled a knife on me and tried to kill me. Long story short he’s in jail begging me to not press charges. If I don’t press charges Id spare him twice. I told him as long as we both on earth don’t come around me I’m glad I let that toxicity go out my life I feel so much more powerful and better.

I think they run everything I think they don’t ever do wrong think they shit down stink. Till that day. Not in a bad way but I’ve seen some parents both mothers and fathers do fucked up shit to the kids. And I always remember thinking wait till that day comes, they’re parent (dad or mom) ain’t gonna feel too good when the children reach physical maturity. Seen this in real life 4 times. The dads try acting nuts to win, take A cheap shot or they just kick em out as shown depends on the parent. He threatened us multiple times to kill us if we ever tried anything. I think it’s just fathers want to always be above their sons and never weaker.
