Looks wonderful, but I have to wonder why a regular fork is used to mash the potatoes and mix everything. Why not a potato masher and a mixing spoon? I'm a bit OCD when it comes to food waste, so if the egg and breadcrumbs were not used up on the first pass I would double dip some of them until all was used up. That's just me.

The Indian variant of this recipe is called aaloo tikki. The dough is rolled into balls and then flattened, dipped in APF batter and rolled over bread crumbs. They can either be toasted on pan with little oil or deep fried. It's served with tomato ketchup, tamarind sauce, mustard sauce, garlic cheese spread, coriander sauce etc, any one of them. Eu o meu ficou igual o do vídeo, mas quando fui experimentar a textura não ficou boa por conta do amido de milho, ficou uma textura gelatinosa. Vou tentar fazer novamente substituindo o amido por queijo talvez fique melhor😊 PS. Mesmo eu não gostando da textura os meus filhos amaram☺️

pakora (fritters) Switch eggs with gram flour (add water to make a Semi consistency). Fry it in oil and you have a vegan option. No need for bread crumbs coz gram flour puffs up when fried and develops a nice coating around potato.
