My family and I used to live in a shared house, the person we shared it with was a lot like this. My step mother didn't care and my dad was too burnt out from working 16 hour shifts to deal with it, so she got away with doing a lot of this kind of stuff until my brother and I had enough. If she put our names on her chore wheel, we'd use her products to make our lunch. If she took our clothes out of the washer snd just left them on the floor, we'd turn the breaker in the laundry room off halfway through her clothes being dried.

I noticed that there was a difference between this version and the animatic. Instead of this one saying petty and possessive, it said crazy and obesessive. I just noticed these differences and thought it was quite cool. Also after she said "I feel so attacked!" in the animatic, she starts maniacally laughing, in the live action version, she doesnt. (I rewatched it and realized that was definitely a mandela effect lol)

You make it out that the person being passive aggressive is the villain, and likes to be passive aggressive. It's like saying those who are aggressive like to beat people up, which unfortunately some do. But think about it you've got lazy roommates but you don't like confrontation. That roommate hasn't done any dishes for two months, she's not your mom. It wasn't thirty seconds they left their clothes in the wash, it was literally all day, she's got to do her laundry too. She doesn't get pleasure from being passive aggressive she feels it's the only way the other roommates will learn when being lazy and unhelpful. When the roommates confronted her about it some of the stuff might have been a bit extreme on the passive aggressive's side (because you were vilifying her) but those roommates weren't innocent (I bet one of them hasn't paid the rent in two months). the meeting would turn into an argument with lots of yelling and blaming, and the passive aggressive doesn't want that, (which is why they are passive) but they want their roommates to do their share (which is why she's aggressive). I just felt attacked, but each passive aggressive is different I guess, half of their actions felt justified, the other half feel like hyperbole to attack the passive aggressive.

Totally agree with you, and in many ways I think it’s what makes it so funny and relatable. In some form or fashion, we’ve all been passive aggressive roommates. But yes, dealing with lazy roommates is always a challenge
