For all those whom are concerned and wondering about why this young man has a tiger is, because he rescued Romeo from being sold to the circus. Romeo, the tiger I do believe will be given sanctuary once he grows bigger into his adult stage and be with his own kind. He is not a pet, but this young man considers him family as well as Romeo. Romeo thinks of him as a parental figure and family. The day they have to part will be devastating, but once he adjusts to his new environment it will be for the best. Of course this young man will visit when he can and the reunions will be amazing. Obviously, owning tigers are illegal unless you are known as a rescuer, who rehabilitates and gives sanctuary to certain types of animals for a period of time then transfers them to other qualified well known animal sanctuaries that have the money to do so. All in said, please support your local, well-known, and national sanctuaries and rescue places, because it helps their mission to feed, supply medical care, daily care, rescue more animals, advertise, and raise awareness world-wide even local. Thank you!

@@ezrablood9387 domestication is pretty different from "tamed." domestication is a long process of selective breeding over countless generations to produce desirable traits (i.e, less aggression than counterparts in nature) whereas taming is what you're describing. it's not that wild animals can't form bonds with people, it's just that they are, at their core, wild animals. they can be territorial, or just ferocious to a dangerous extent if their species is prone to such behavior, which can put people and therefore it in danger. when wildcats like these get bigger and people don't just outright throw them out, they can lead pretty miserable lives. i've seen a documentary on people who kept exotic pets, where one man kept a cougar. He'd had it since it was little and it was very tame, but when it got bigger, he made a pretty small cage to keep it in because it had gotten too large and strong for him to manage like a kitten anymore. even when he goes into the cage to interact with it, he can't stay for too long, because even just simple playing is too hard for him to handle. the animal is just too big and strong to play with anymore. even if the animal doesn't mean it and isn't inherently ferocious, it can accidentally hurt people. it is likely best for wildcats who are in need of rescue to be in sanctuaries. they are given the proper care they need until they can go home to their habitats.

If you raise a wolf from a cub there’s going to be massive behaviour and instinctive differences to a dog. A big cat like a tiger or lion do not belong in an urbanised setting, it’s extremely selfish to force them not just to live outside of their preferred habitat and to suppress their capacity to fulfil their instincts, but to also isolate them from their own species is just cruel. The fact so many of these pets end up on sedative or mood altering drugs to control them is already enough of a hint they do not happily or naturally adapt to these lifestyles. It’s also one thing to be stupid enough to risk yourself, but the irresponsibility of putting other pets in danger too… all it takes is for its core instincts to be triggered and things will get deadly. Do Americans suffer from some kind of collective amnesia regarding how many instances wild animals as pets has gotten both humans and pet dogs savagely attacked and/or killed? 🤨

Sadly its a white tiger. most like an inbred, unhealthy hybridization of various tiger species. Sadly most white tigers are hybrids. Hybrid tigers have a ton of health problems. This was likely bred and sold as a pet.
