This song was originally supposed to be part of the "Ecomium" Led Zeppelin tribute album, but when the label complained about the length of the track, TOOL balked on it. Vibrato is the musical term you're looking for. While the underlying meaning of reverb can apply, in a musical sense reverb is specifically the sound of the room or space that the piece is being performed in whereas vibrato is specifically the shifting of pitch to create a wavy effect. Tool was from the 1990's , Led Zep formed in 1968 and recorded their first two albums in 1969 . They were completely groundbreaking and influenced everything that came afterwards. The keyboard opening is John Paul Jones , the vocalist is Robert Plant, the genius on guitar is the legendary Jimmy Page (also founder and producer) and the drummer is John Bonham. No quarter means no mercy. If you are going to check them out further they had no fixed genre but performed immaculate blues , the raunchiest of rock, folk rock , funky rock, acoustic masterpeices. I think you will like Dazed and confused from the first album or whole lotta love from the second.
