Best as I can tell, dropping anything from a kilometer up should take about 14 seconds before impact ignoring drag. Not sure exactly how to calculate that. But using the 14-second time to impact while ignoring drag means anything you've dropped from a kilometer up should be impacting up roughly 140 meters per second, about 300 miles an hour or about 500 km an hour. Dropping the Titanic which is best as I can tell Weighed somewhere along the lines of 50 kilotons, would be equivalent to setting off about 200 tons of TNT.

Fun trick - in the engine settings turn the tensile strength all the way up and the rigidity all the way down (in both mechanics and advanced settings). This will cause the boat to melt into a giant tarpaulin in the water.

At 3:44 or so when you said hopefully ships are stronger today.. no ship no matter how strong or light can survive a break in the ocean (I think that's the right term used "break") because when the titanic went over to far it broke under its own weight and stress on the ship.. maybe a military submarine may survive depending on how big the break in the ocean is Edit: I was thinking the ekranoplan could survive but that would just fall right in due to weight, unless you have enough thrust to keep it in the air long enough. it wouldn't break (maybe) but you'd probably become a submarine until it implodes (feel free to correct me on that)

A fact that nobody asked for: The 4th smokestack (at the back end of the Titanic) was only for decoration. It had no real purpose.

True, but not entirely. While the 4th funnel was not connected to the boiler flues and was largely decorative, it wasn't a completely useless visual touch. It was used for ventilation, the 1st and 2nd class galley flues exhausted into the 4th funnel

Fun Fact.. Terminal Velocity in our atmosphere is around 150mph from a free fall and objects that do are already going a nice clip to to auger in faster. Most massive waves lift a ship not just go around it instead depending on when each meet or are driven under like a submarine if it comes from the stern or it peaks in front of them too. One theory had the ship Edmund Fitzergerald sink due to such waves by what's called hogging where the bow-stern or just one may have lifted or dropped more than amdiships when it broke in two.
