RED has so much survivability, it's crazy. It feels like there's a lot of Puyo players that just, stop playing the game after a certain amount of garbage

how do you change the language from english to japanese in puyo puyo tetris 1 i dont understand how wumbo can do it but i can never find the setting

PC only, go to audio settings

On Switch/PS4 you can't do it and on PS3/Wii U/Xbox One/Vita/3DS it's Japanese by default with no English option

I never understood the point of puyo puyo Tetris, it always seems tetris is just better

Tetris looked better because we noobies always love dynamic fast paced match, while Puyo require more time to think since it has more complicated pattern and colour combo

There are other crossover modes that smooth over the balance issues by having you play both games simultaneously in different ways. It's also just nice to have a good version of Tetris and a good version of Puyo Puyo for the price of one game. And you can always matchmake in just Tetris or just Puyo Puyo to insure both balance and purity.
