man, I have a little tip for you: cut the string just above the ring, without cutting the spiral part. the strings will NEVER jump out of the locking system, because the floyd rose would have more grip

Vektor uses A standard so the tension on the A and D gets pretty high (someone told me the D string has the highest tension of all strings but I don't know for sure)

Vektor is one of the only metal bands I know that actually tune UP their guitars. Haha. I like it, all the notes are heard really clearly, instead of when you tune low and it all sounds like mud. Did you have to use really light gauge strings?

I really like the sound of it ;) Not really, normally I'm using 46-10s on my guitar and I didn't change strings, just readjuated the Floyd rose for the tuning.

hmm basically it's the same tone I always use ;) Just tune up your guitar to F Standard and "semi-pinch" a lot of notes, that's something Vektor uses alot ;)
