Just a teensy note (though your sentiment is lovely) - they may not both be lesbians. One (or both) could be bisexual/pansexual, or one (or both) could be non-binary/agender. It’s best not to assume a same-sex-appearing couple automatically is made up of gay individuals because that’s how things like bi-erasure and misgendering can happen (even without intent).

And if one or both of them were enby and didn’t also identify as lesbian, then they would certainly not be in a lesbian relationship either.
