I almost did the same thing. I was trying to catch the alpha snorlax right when i started. Almost went into battle but i decided not to. Didnt catch it unfortunately

i think this snorlax has lower catch rate than legendaries in this game

i swear they put that snorlax in the perfect spot where it's next to impossible to back attack it, it always sees me creeping up to throw a berry to distract it

There's a tiny bit of ledge above alpha snorlax where you can get him from behind, it's above the water if that's any help. That's how I caught him, just have braviary ready incase he spots you!

Ironically i managed to catch the alpha heracross in the starting area in a normal fight, as he didint have anything to hit my level 20 driffloom

This is why you create cakes of the Pokemon's favorite food(s), or wait until you can buy/make sticky globs...

I kept spamming jet balls on a lv 70 alpha lucario since none of my pokemon were able to fight it, and I managed to catch it luckily lol

This kinda reminds me with my experience where how I kept reaching star ranks pretty quickly and my Pokemon were in there level 20's or something I decided to challenge myself to try and catch that Alpha Rapidash in the first area by throwing a ball at it and rolling far within the grass After a few fails and tries I got it My older bro was watching me and questioned how did I even manage it and I was just filled with joy once I got it I then started trying to see if I can get every alpha no matter the level unless the rank I'm at can't get it yet ✨

I start going ham catching alpha after the alpha introduction. Most alpha is easy catch if you bait it with food + heavy ball + sneak up for back throw + save restart I think my line up in first area is alpha happiny, alpha bibarel, alpha shinx, alpha rapidash, alpha scyther and starter quilava. Man those alpha is ridiculous big

@@SchwifTV I got mine after I was like "you know I'd love a shiny alpha". Shiny alpha Togepi. Another was when I was thinking aloud, I said "the shiny Pokemon make a noise when they spawn or you're close enough, shiny Growlithe or something. I was around the back of the unown ruins in the Mirelands and I heard the 'shine' and looked around and questioned if it glitched and came from inside the ruins. There was a shiny Unown in the ruins. And just to be safe I explored that area again, shiny Sudowoodo. The only reason I found Unown was based on a presumed glitch that didn't exist. Plus I've had five separate days of five or more shinies, one with 8 and one with 10. I said to myself "see I call the noise the shiny Pokemon make 'the shine'," and found a shiny Bidoof. I am a shiny hunter now. 76 shiny Pokemon not including the scripted shiny Ponyta

Well that’s why I don’t try to meet in battles with alpha Because they are scary for me They are very strong and have special abilities Is very hard to catch one But nevertheless if you are ready maybe you can catch some one
