Why would you need a gyro?

It’s not needed but it would help on a windy day, like when the wind is blowing over plastic chairs

@@BillCranford If it's windy enough to blow over plastic chairs, I stay down. I build all my own models and it's not worth the risk.

@@richard1472 I’ve only built one kit, a stick build, and windy or not it’s never been flown, just hangs in the basement looking pretty lol

@@BillCranford So, you've never flown a model you built yourself? Well, that's just sad. For me, model aviation has become a way of life, a lifetime of learning, if you will. And it breaks my heart to see aeromodelling being reduced to nothing more than a pastime, like video games. It's never too late. Try it!
