For the ultimate mechanical keyboard, use: No wireless connectivity of any kind. No backlighting. Or use backlighting without illuminated legends. (You don't need legends anyway). A coiled cable, especially if it has no practical benefit for cable routing on your desk. A cable with quick disconnects, even though it's a detachable cable anyway. Impracticality is the name of the game.
