The Pro leaned into the sides where he would receive the kicks, loading his weight down into his legs and lowering his center of gravity, hence making the receiving leg much stronger against the impact. The other guys leaned away, leaving their receiving legs weak against the kicking force and becoming instantly unstable. This is the determining factor here, not the power of the kicks themselves

"Consecutive normal kick". Im not sure if you ever visited a Dojo, but it doesnt exist. A kick has a single fundamental objective: weaken your oponent structure or make them fall. In the video, its about the difference of strenght, and method between both of them, not about "serious kick vs normal kick", life isnt an anime.

Hence why the title is "noob vs professional". Noob means beginner, so it should be self explanatory that they're still learning.

That's absolute nonsense. This is a fake overreaction video. You can tell that they were overreacting to kicks that were clearly not powerful.

Their kicks aren't THAT bad. The guy is just leaning into the kicks so they cant take him off balance. Compare to how when the roles are reversed the first one doesnt move or transfer weight at all, and the other straight up lifted his leg before he received the kick. It's truly shitty technique vs decent technique.

You have to look at it this way, if this is ‘normal’ after 20 years,professional fighters would kick their opponents out of the ring with 1 lowkick. And they don’t. This is an exaggeration of how it feels to be kicked as a newbie in kickboxing, and that is all this is.

Even before starting a combat sport I could have taken that kick without falling (not what came after of course) it doesn’t take a pro to know how to brace or copy a simple position.

He leans into the kick. Interesting. Helps with absorbing I guess. The other two didn’t so on top of not having power, they lack the knowledge oh knowing how to kick and absorb kicks
@JediStratos
@JediStratos 2 жыл бұрын
It doesnt absorb. He leans on each leg pressing his weight onto it, so muscles are more thight, thus leg gets harder. Basicly when he gets kicked in leg, he feels less, it doesnt hurt him as much.

Love these videos. First scene: Guys playfully kick the slap pads to make noise, neither using their core and hips to drive any power. Second scene: Another uneducated guy, using no movement of power from his core / hips but swinging with a bit more intent.. Classic YT martial arts
