I've been watching many of your videos (mainly Pantheon Speedruns) and wondered, "how do you get this good?". That is a very open question, so I'll try to boil it down to a few smaller ones. "How do you practise bosses?" Take the Oro & Mato fight, for example, in your P5 speedrun I was frankly mesmerised by how every second of that fight you were constantly dealing damage. So I guess the next question is: "How do I find strategies for different bosses in the capacity that you do?" Also, I don't know if you use a controller but if you do, "how can you do such advanced movements?" Like in the Vengefly King fight, you're always staying in the air while having complete control over your movement. I use the default control mapping, so if you use another one please let me know. Keep in mind I'm not new or especially bad at this game, not to boast but I have 200h, I've beaten all the Pantheons, and killed almost every boss in HoG on radiant. But I want to level up, so to speak, and work toward being at, or at least close to your mastery of this game (even though I know I never will ;) ).

"How do you practice bosses?" - I always try to maximize efficiency in all possible ways. This means using mods like Godseeker+ to allow me to practice bosses in different states more efficiently (Starting with fury, starting with certain amounts of soul, etc.). I also frequently use the Debug mod's save-states set in the hall of gods to quickly exit/restart a fight that has veered off the intended flow-chart. "How do I find strategies for different bosses in the capacity that you do?" - It's an odd thing to preach, but I commonly suggest people shed any personal pride/attachment to any particular strategy. I find people often are very fond of things that they've come up with on their own, rather than always thinking of the tools available to improve or make something faster and/or safer (in regards to speed-running or hitless challenges). I always try to learn everything I can possibly learn about the mechanics, game physics, and sometimes frame-data of the tools involved so I can move them around like puzzles pieces when trying to come up with something new. "how can you do such advanced movements?" - This one comes down to practice and enjoyment. I don't think I would be nearly as proficient at controlling my character if I didn't get so much enjoyment out of always pushing to make things look cooler/cleaner/faster. When I learned about mechanics involving nail swing animation canceling to allow you to swing slightly faster, or double jump sooner after a swing in the air, I just wanted to implement them wherever I could. (I actually play on keyboard, but it's important to note that just about everything I'm doing is possible on a controller as well. My jump, swing, and dash are z,x,c respectively, and I used space bar for quick cast). I've put a little over 1k hours in this game, and I'm always willing to help people improve, so feel free to DM me on discord (Benji#1083) if you have any more specific questions. Biggest thing I can leave you with is to try to find ways to make practice/improvement fun. I try to only do challenges in ways that I'll enjoy and that makes it so much easier to grind out the necessary skills.

@@Spoonsei Thank you very much for the reply! Unfortunately, I am on console so I won't be able to use the mods you suggested, but nonetheless, there are loads of things you suggested that I can absolutely implement in my gameplay. Appreciate you!
