When you win your lane a little TOO hard (Deadlock)

i'm not even joking, myself and ‪@Mr_Fruit‬ have had the problem of winning games too fast, so here's two of those games back to back. i might make an intro guide to deadlock soon, this game has been one of very few in recent memory that i've 1) been enjoying a lot and 2) actually wouldn't mind making educational content about.

Warden really feels like a jack of all trades character. Laning, jungling, defending, attacking, flanking, 1v1s. Whatever it is, his kit lends well to the role. He sucks to play while behind on souls, but as long as you're good with denies early game it's usually fine.

I usually assign Quicksilver reload to the flask as it allows you to really keep up the pressure during prolonged duels. It's a huge DPS boost and can help you secure kills in spite of Warden's relatively small ammo capacity. Usually the Jail is the first ability you use in a fight so you lose QR's value when assigning it to that.

this game has such a polarizing art direction. it looks immediately recognizable and easy on the eyes. the only standout colors are the most important things you should be paying attention to, while everything else looks understated and restricted on it's use of color and overall design.

My hot take is from a pure viewing perspective (not counting how fun the game is to actually play), this really doesn't look that much more different or interesting than Concord which got blasted for its character designs

@@TCB_Repentless Difference is that deadlock is in development, this is playtesting. Concorde was released. there is concept art of the map with a more colorful art direction. as for character designs i don't know, but to me most of them are fine as is. also i don't know that much about concord but at least deadlock is not about stunning visuals of story telling with art and character designs. Its a moba, whats important is gameplay and balance. looks certainly helps and is a deal breaker for people as well. However without good fundamentals any moba will be dead on arrival.

the art direction is very imcomplete, the menus and certain ui elements will not look like this in a few years. if you want a comparison, look at where dota 2's ui was at 2011 compared to 2014 or even today

If you play more Warden going forward you should def Max Jail asap then your flask next then start putting points into ult then the shield. Jail Max lvl gives you 20% more damage against them. You should also buy quicksilver reload and bond to flask so you can empty whole clip throw flask and you're fully reloaded you'll win basically every 1v1

dude i play abes and have been really doing my best to get even better at soul denies until the 10 min mark where i usually try to push and kill the guardian while pushing back to the walker so i can go farm t2 caps and slot machines and i have already in the first 63 hours made like 4 or 5 people full on DC cause i laned them too hard XD

Hey if y'all want to make games even more unwinnable for enemies, killing a minion with a melee attack gives you the kill and the soul at the same time. If you can safely kill a minion with a light/heavy melee the enemies will have 0 chance of denying your souls.

Not always doable, but it is something to aim for when possible in early game, if you can't gank the enemy heroes early, then just deny their orbs and secure yours.
