Tranquilizers, kind of like an anesthesia item (instant knockout or something like that, could balanced as a friendly colonist to colonist only interaction) or could loaded as a dart into a gun to be fired (again, friendly only would seem reasonable). Probably would be an interesting little QOL mod.

Instant knockout is unrealistic, even by Rimworld standards. There's a reason why we can't pacify ruthless criminals or dangerous lunatics safely and reliably: people are simply too different. What's enough to kill one person might not be enough to even affect another person -- and I don't foresee any technological advancement changing that.

What I do is also have them on lucifarium and keep them in a cryo pod until I need them. Then I get them up, they do there thing, maybe eat some good or take some more lucifarium if they need it, then put them back in.

This is like in Dwarf Fortress when your legendary Axedwarf suddenly goes berserk. It's a lot like this, only you wouldn't be so lucky to have 5 overpowered sniper turrets to instantly kill them, and that son of a bitch is most likely going to take down an entire squad of soldiers down with him, if not the whole damn fortress.

I have been playing this colony for about 2 ingame years. This was on Cassandra Rough, but I have a lot of mods that make the game a bit easier. Sadly, I stopped playing on it. I had everything I wanted and more and I had a lot of bugs with my mods. One of them made my colonists break constantly even though their ''needs'' bar was full. So it was more annoying than fun to play on that colony.

You can get colonists with like 5 passions combined in vanilla. But the one at 02:19 with 13 passions is definitely modded.

(ik this post is older but this still might help) The Mood Color Bar mod would've helped alot with this, mostly so you know roughly how everyone is doing (moodwise) without checking though all of them. There are mods for everything guys.

AI persona cores induces berserker rage once in a while regardless of mood. If you look at her icon (second from the left) at the start of the video she has something like 90% mood when she goes berserk.

As you are not affraid by Mods, i suggest you the stun gun mod and side arms mod. With This your super melee killer should have been managed by the two first guy even with his shield (in the other hand ennemy raid Will also have stun guns)
