This was a WORD. I once received a prophecy from a man who told me I’m going to fail school because I was too complacent , this was over a year ago and to this day those words keep scaring me. And at the midway through listening to this sermon I thought “so I’m not complacent!” And exactly at that moment pastor vlad said “DONT CONFUSE GRATITUDE FOR COMPLACENCY.” Praise God for using Vlad to share the gospel. I have been struggling with trusting God to provide for my student loans and a conversation I had yesterday really was weighing on my heart about the hole I'm in. I spent decades in a church where when your “brook ran dry” then there was an assumption that there was secret sin or disobedience. I lived in fear that every thing I did would curse me. I so appreciate truth speaking pastors, like you, who help us understand and reveal the true character of our God. Great message. This past month or so I have finally leaned on following God in everything I can or least trying instead of just believing in God and not relying on him. Could use prayer to continue to be renewed and more understanding of Jesus. This year started good. Money coming in, bills getting paid, then bam. I got pregnant at 42 years old, high risk, bleeding, been off work for 3 months. Bank account slowly draining. I went to depression about finances and my baby if I will carry to full terms, 9 months. I needed to hear this. Thank you God. Still, why pregnant at 42? I will give this baby to God.

This message is so timely. Prayed about this very thing this morning. You reminded me of what is unseen. How God has done more than we realize and how are hearts need to always be thankful even in lack. Thank you Lord for what you are doing in me during this season change me through this. I am thoroughly enjoying listening to ALL of these sermons. The part that stood out to me most from this one was when Pastor Vlad talked about the ravens, and why didn't God use doves, the symbol of peace? But He uses ravens, unclean birds, the least desirable to bring you food... and yet, God will provide for His children, and He sometimes uses ravens to do it. That is just such a powerful thought. We are supposed to be in the world, but not of the world... but we're still IN the world. And God doesn't want to take us OUT of the world because otherwise how will people who don't know Jesus come to know Him? Pastor Vlad, you have a gift, to pick out things from God's Word that tweaks my mindset and gives me a new perspective I didn't have before. Thank you.
