I spoke to a farmer that said one of his cows lost her caff..a mother deer was killed on the road..the cow took the baby deer as her own..the farmer put a orange collar on the deer..so no one would kill it.

Exactly! I have 3 inside cats. One of my cats that rarely complains or makes a noise came into the kitchen one morning meowing very angrily. I said....I've done fed you and you have water. What gives? Then, It dawned on me that one of the cats got out of his room (I feed them separately so they dont steal food from one another) and stole Ash's food. She was one pissed cat. She was tatling on the other cat ....Boris. we call him Botis the Russian cause he's a Russian blue. He has a mean look about him at times lol....and he is obsessed with food thats so bad it seems psychological. He was a rescue a must have went hungry and he will open doors to steal other cats food.

Cappusine monkeys tend to suffer separation anxiety... The poor little mites. My dad's cousin had a little squirrel monkey wich was rather independent. He loved to climb the curtain rails, and race himself on the sofa back rest... He was 20+ years. Still agile as a cricket ! 😂❤

If my cat is inside at night she romps with her disabled best friend Frick, an opossum. If she’s outside for the night she romps with Frick’s sister, Frack. Frack was able to be released but has chosen to live under my house. I have so many photos of them playing with skunks or trying to approach deer in the yard.

Once my husband was feeding our 12 cats and a mouse trotted out from under the cupboard and nudged in between the cats to join in the feast. The cats accepted the mouse as guest to their meal rather than it being the meal itself. What a brave little mouse it must have been! My husband rang me at work to tell what was taking place, I recall he was whispering asking me what should he do? I told him to carefully pop a pudding basin over the mouse then slip a place mat under in order to take it safely back down the fields where one of our cats had obviously brought it home from; which he did. Unfortunately this was a few years before phone cameras and it would have made an amazing utube video!

I tried to pet a baby raccoon once and it turned and growled at me. It sounded like a cougar!! Scared the beejeebers out of me. Some asshat killed it's mother so I was feeding it at the time. It had 4 or 5 sisters/brothers too. I don't like people who don't like raccoons. And if you're reply is that they are pests and do damage to your property, you should hear what they have to say about humans who come in and destroy their homes, family and habitat because humans are the most selfish animals on planet Earth. Respect for wild animals should include not attempting to pet them, for their own safety as well as yours and other humans. Raccoons can carry rabies, and a raccoon that trusts humans too much can be mistaken for one with rabies, which would get it killed by pest control since rabies is so deadly

In my defence, I was 15 at the time and the mother had been killed and the 5 (or 6) bables were trapped down our dormant chimney and we needed to get them out. I do heartily agree with you though. Man seems to want to domesticate every animal and it may come down to that since we are constantly destroying animal habitate leaving them no choice but to interact with humans, the real pests in this world. You know this happened to me I was at Kerela, India for doing some work and ofcourse for tour for 2 months Where I was living in a Small G+1 Bunglow type Hotel they had a very lovely Dog and he was very friendly, It was the Hotel speciality to keep a pet live with you in Bunglow and food will be provided by Hotel themselves One day I was sitting at the Balcony seeing the beautiful forest view surrounding the hotel and suddenly it was that dog appeared out of forest brought a freaking huge Elephant at the Hotel And I was like "Wha.." So I had Papayas and some Bananas to gave it to the huge adorable Elephant It was really one of the wonderful event happened in my life

Er what? Have you watched a cat with its prey?. Small birds disembowelled. Baby geckos toyed with before I rescue them, often tail less by then. Our cat took her kittens down our garden and sat them down outside a rabbit nest and showed them how to catch and disable the young ones as they popped out. She had previously brought them a baby mouse. Dropped it in their box and kept patting it down until her kittens got the idea and caught it. Also dogs will attack cats and other dogs. I live in a semi built country area 3k from a village. I have had 6 young cats disappear over the 12 years I have lived here. I have searched roadsides and never found even a body.
