Wow jeez what an insanely satisfying rigged run as Tainted Isaac, Polyphemus, Brimstone, Cricket's Head, Ipecac, Infestation 2, Magic Mushroom, Cricket's Body, Almond Milk, Glitched Crown, Inner Eye, Host Hat, Parasite. Binding of Isaac: Rebirth was great, Afterbirth was cool Afterbirth+ was like, eh, it's okay, and then Repentance came and was like BAM this is the best DLC EVER. The best mods like Q4 Isaac dance and banger songs like Innocence Glitched and Machine in the walls (my personal favorite) BIG C Section Brimstone Tech X fetuses' with ghost pepper synergies have so much potential. Add Soy Milk and Rock Bottom for a free win. Those items would be so OP together. The greatest synergy of all time. First floor is Ultra Hard, boss rush can be hard to get to. Good thing mom's knife didn't show up because that wouldn't have been fun. Even though I would of liked that item. I also like, Death Certificate, Damocles, Crickets Head, Rock bottom, Magic Mushroom and Godhead. Psy Fly, Revelation, Twisted Pair, D6 or Spindown Dice would be a cool synergy to have. Edmund Mcmillen created Super Meat Boy and I think he is a angel room enjoyer. Though Devil rooms can be Isaac Pog too, sometimes its a missed rare opportunity 0.1%. Sometimes when I get C section or Glitched Crown I laugh at my free win. Polyphemus Crickets Body Proptosis soy milk Sacred Heart + Holy Light and +10 Luck from perfection is my favorite combo. When I get dead eye incubus R key Red key mega mush spirit sword and brimstone with ipecac it feels like a won run especially with monstros lung and tech X. I love playing the lost and tainted lost, and rerolling is always fun. I also love planetarium items. The Binding of Isaac Repentance is a pretty hard game but I enjoy it, I remember How to unlock the Lost, and it sucks because its RNG. Fighting Hush Delirium Mega Satan The Beast and Mother are all fun. I love synergies and bad items. This is 1,000,000% swear on dead gods name that this description isn't only for keywords. well if I can give an suggestion about this "if you start with X item" type of runs, I suggest that you take any character that doesn't affect the item pool (such as tainted lost or lost through birthright) and that doesn't turn the bad item in something usable (such Isaac, through d6 and T. Apollyon, through abyss), because even if you get something bad you can still get something through the character mechanics and since this runs are all about "what if X item can carry the run", then if you can salvage the run through character mechanics then you get a biased answer. Sorry for the english, It's not my native language but I think you people can understand what I'm talking about.

I would love to see an unchanged tears run, maybe with glitched crown start- like how chaotic can you make it without pickup up anything that changes your tears (Tech, Ludo, Brim, Sacred Sword, etc) while tear effects that leave the idea of the "tear" alone are fine (Choccy milk, spoon bender, sinus infection, common cold etc)

both Apollyons are really just the epitome of 'isaac with an item' character design. Playing any other character, and starting with Void, is basically the same as playing Apollyon. He doesn't get any special boost from it, or interact with it in a unique way from when other characters pick it up. Honestly? It seems like he deserves to be more complex. He's down at the end of the character roster, with Lost, Lilith, Keeper, Forgotten, Bethany, Jacob & Hitbox, Eden. All the characters with unique mechanics, and he just has an item.

Glitched Crown may be the better item, but you will always become overpowered, have to worry about missed items, worry about timing, exauting the pools / breakfasting. Very op, but very annoying. Sacred Orb on the other hand just makes runs generally better. You can also go alt path because if the visible item is bad, there is a very low chance the hidden item is bad. Sacred Orb is not the better item, but the more fun item

3:06 More power to you, but I have to be in a very specific mood to wanna take Chaos and generally find the game a lot less fun once I do- all the normal rules of item acquisition go out the window and it becomes purely about luck, which can lead to a fun run if RNGesus is feeling generous, but usually just makes things boring at best and unfun at worst. I generally ignore or reroll it.

Yo Mattman i think i made a new synergy: if you get evangelism(tainted God head), Dr. fetus and Polyphemus you get 120 TEAR RATE! no joke i did test it after the eden run i had + you don't need it in that specific order if u got those item in the same run ur good. NOTE: do not pick up any type of tear rate after those it will brake the synergy.

I still think Damocles is a stronger start tbh Sure Glitched Crown allows to cycle through more items, but you will still have the same amount at the end of a run. With Damocles you don't just double items seen, but taken.
