If you take the time to read the rules of the game, it clearly states the amount of coins showing in the pot has no bearing on when it will close. That full pot is just a gimmick to make you think its close to closing.

Personally, I choose the 10 games. Don’t mean to boast, but I played dancing drums yesterday and first of all 10c machine, got a 5 drum bonus (betting $8.80) and made like $2500 then played a 1c DD ‘explosion’ machine and got the bonus with 3 regular drums and 11 Fu Dogs. It paid $2304 before the bonus betting $5.88. The bonus only added $300 more. While waiting for the hand pay I got the major jackpot which was over $900 (too bad it didn’t upgrade). Definitely won’t be going back for a while now - that was a rare occurrence.
