My schecter solo 2 custom was made in Korea and it is flawless. They did a fantastic job. I enjoyed all 3 videos and I still maintain that the tele with the beautiful top from Japan and the prs hollow body (both from part 1) are my favorites.

Korean craftmanship is legendary 🙌 😋 👌 😍. Epiphones made in Korea are highly sort after. PRS made in Korea has very high quality compared to Indonesia made ones, hopefully will improve 👍 👏 😀.

Another enjoyable video, love all those Explorer's! I am curious to the weight of your 1974 Les Paul, I own a 1976 and it plays and sounds fantastic but it's a boat anchor at around 12 lbs. Norlin era is notorious for the weight and the volute, but I think the 70s Les Paul's are underrated. I've had mine since 1980 and would never sell it. You are correct, the knobs are called witch hats, I have a set on my 1967 ES 330.

metal is what got me started playing guitar and nothing generates a guitar face on me quite as much as rocking out to black sabbath or megadeth

agree. something different about playing metal

Any true metal collection must include a Les Paul Custom! It's one mean sounding Gibson. I generally keep mine in Eb or drop C#, and it does the Alice In Chains thing in spades! Beautiful dog, by the way - in collie sunburst!

Funny thing is that I also got my baritone explorer cause I thought it was a ghost horse and was even tuned to c standard when I got it. But I at first didn’t want it and then feel in love with it after a little while. Don’t use it as much as I should since I’m trying to legetimatly get my basics down after just mindlessly riffing for 4 years

Metal guitars are awesome, because metal is awesome. I have to admit, I am a little uncomfortable with " metal" or " pointy headstock" guitars. I have a couple. A Jackson ( Japan) and a BC Rich ( Korea). They are Built very well, no snobbery here. I love them both, they sound great. But...having a badass performance guitar almost implies that Im good enough to play that material, Im not. But I try, and its fun. Another great video, thank you for you're service ( saving the world one guitar purchase at a time, lol)

It would be interesting if you can get your hands on the latest edition of chapman guitars which are now being built in Chennai, India by HMI and see how they compare to the Korean ones.

Yeah I'd love to. Difficult to get to in Singapore though for now

Korean craftmanship can be excellent (depending on the factory and the specs / price range the brand has budgeted for a specific model). Too many baritones!

How much money should one make to afford such a huge collection. Definitely not from a job...I want to be a multimillionaire as well 🎉 but honestly it dorsnt make much sense owning a plethora of instruments...if you only pick them up every now and then, and than put it back to the case...
