there's 4 outcome a vaal orb will do 1.add new rune slot 2.change the stat 3.add a implicit mod 4. no change the omen is just prevent 4, and nowadays in poe2 belt, ring and amulet won't go 1 either if I didn't get it wrong. So there's only 2 outcome will be on the blet. The vaal that change the stat will also reroll your item at the same time, the vaal that add new mod won't reroll it. So if you just want a +22% super stat uniq, just spam vaal orb on every uniq you got no matter how low the stat is.

Yeah doing it the way he did it is just mental. The ONLY good outcome he could have had was the high end of the vaal divine roll. Every other outcome would have been a huge loss…
