My Mother-In-Law had this same issue with my husband & his brothers when they were teens like 35-40yrs ago. No matter how many times she told them not to throw the ball in the house they kept doing it. Even though she warned them if they didn't stop throwing the ball in the house she was going to pop the football! After warning them when she would catch them throwing the ball in the house what she was going to do to the ball they still did it! So one day she finally had ENOUGH & the Queen that she is she intercepted the ball during a pass, they didn't see she had a kitchen knife in her hand & she popped the football right in front of them! Needless to say they never threw the ball in the house again!
