My parents and grandparents are hoarders too, it was so frustrating the unproductive arguments we would have about getting rid of stuff when I still lived with them. Now I’m struggling with my own hoarding tendencies, feels deeply embarrassing. I wish you so much luck and joy, I sympathize. At points I laughed because I related so hard. Tackling a hoard is such an energy consuming thing. Try to avoid burning yourself out if you can!

I know there are many of us out there that are dealing with this, and yes, it’s hard not to turn out like them and be a hoarder ourselves. I struggle as well with keeping it in check. Hang in there and I am glad I can give a bit of humor with the situation. I will keep giving updates on my progress and I am sure there will be more humor (and crying) along the way. Thanks for stopping by my channel! 😊

this is so relatable the frustration of trying to help a family member clean their hoarder home is not for the weak because they will make you feel crazy for only trying to make their life easier.

It makes you second guess yourself, doesn’t it? All it does is make our lives harder while they are oblivious to the issue. Thank you for stopping by my little channel! 🙂

My son's in their sixty's are both hoarders I'm in my eighty's and find it very frustrating. However my rule they are not allowed to hoard beyond their own bedrooms. The rest of the house has to be tidy at least I'm still the boss and they stick to my rules. ❤❤❤

Keep being the boss! It’s hard for me to “parent” my parents. I hope they are taking good care of you. 🙂

Would Momma consider donating some blankets to an animal shelter in your area? That helps me feel better knowing they are used 😊 Of course not all her blankets but a nice pile to create space in her home 🥰
