Some bagpipers and drum players were from the Washington, D.C. police, from the U.S. Border Patrol, or from the U.S. Immigration and Customs agency (the agency which inspects incoming travelers at the borders, and at international airports). The shooting of the little girl and the other shooting were tragic.

Sadly, it seems like a police officer is shot daily someplace in the country. It was nice to see the procession for the Blue Mass. I have seen the Police Memorial in DC.
