It probably won't open the date they said. The place is still a massive building site, and they haven't even began testing yet and they've only got little over 1 month before it apparently opens to the public. The Smiler went through several months' worth of testing before people could ride it. If they're only giving this gigantic ride little over 1 month to do testing for its safety and collaboration of the trains, expect breakdowns and possibly incidents. I would rather tham spend time testing it rather then rush it through because of public pressure.

43 days is not long intill hyperia opens great but there still looks like a lot of work to do especially when it still looks very muddy with all the water to and the bad weather doesn't help. Hopefully it will be the 24th of may

The Hyperia area with Slammer would’ve been absolutely incredible. By far the saddest ride I’ve seen go at Thorpe, I can’t even imagine many of the theme park community got to ride it

I never got to ride Slammer. I could have if it stayed open for one or two more years but no. I have also had bad luck with Huss Topspins

When the trains are moved onto the track from the maintenance building, this ensures that the wheel bogies engage and are aligned onto the running rails as the trains are held by small wheels on the side of the trains when in the maintenance building so staff can inspect and move the wheels freely from all angles (this is also why there is no track inside of the maintenance building)

Tell Thorpe Park they need to up thier landscaping as having a few twiglets planted around Hyperias grounds is gonna look shoddy especially for a roller coaster of this stature, the Gold colour of the coaster is looking like the same colour as all the mud, let's hope they gravel it or put bark chippings down to hide that expanse of mud !!!
