All the way from Massachusetts, I would like to send my most esteemed congratulations to the one and only, The Original East African political Hustler, William (Bill) Samoei Ruto. I have not in my short life breathed such a loud and long sigh of relief after listening to Her Highness pronounce Ruto as the victor of this shenanigan filled case. Ruto was betrayed by that one person he helped attain power, and considered was going to be true to his word, but reneged on the arrangement halfway into their second term of office. These last 2 years have to have been so painful for Ruto, but God never abandons those in the right, his annointed "Hustler", no matter the smear campaign that was unleashed on him by the folks in his own camp. And so Ruto soldiered on by himself and perhaps with a few followers who saw the light way before anyone else did. The great people of Kenya can and will never be fooled again by those who thought the country belonged to only "them' and their kind. This guy's path to the presidency reads like a Hollywood blockbuster script. A guy who the earlier KY leadership was forced to look twice after a simple speech by Ruto left them dazzled by his capabilities. A guy who at one time sold roasted maize by the roadside. Nothing can humble one as Ruto's rise to the topmost position in Kenya. Right from the moment I got to follow him and dig deeper into everything about him, I got the same vibes that Obama exuded in that powerful 2004 Boston keynote DNC speech. After that, all I had to do was wait for Ruto to become president. Period. I wish this Kenyan thing can be mirrored in my near-failed state that is Uganda. Otherwise all is well that ends well, and from the bottom of my joyful heart, I wish you, William Samoei Ruto nothing but a blissful presidency. Cheers and God bless.

I believe it's because he had already addressed it prior to her asking the question on graft, which seemed repetitive. More like she wasn't paying attention to when the president elect said that he is to give a comprehensive statement once sworn in on the matters of corruption and she even reiterated that in her question saying that she knows that what he had said prior. I believe the reaction of the people around was just a reaction to the repetitiveness of her question
