Watching this makes me realize that KZbin as a platform seriously started to decline partially in the later stages of 2016, and then it just started to plummet in 2017. We now sit in 2024 where it’s practically unrecognizable of the once golden days that it had. I would say the platform hit its peak around 2012 and held it until 2016. It was the perfect balance of entertaining content that didn’t cross the line of degeneracy and nonsense. KZbinrs used to care about their channels, content, and their viewers. Now it’s mostly all about views, algorithms, ad revenue, exposure, and clout.
