The Team is a work in progress - the other coaches are no doubt watching and trying to decipher the direction Razor is pursuing, but it doesn't look as though the AB's have nailed the game plan, but at least they're trying to get there. Each of these tests will be targeting specific areas of improve, as a team as well as individuals. I feel we need to be patient.

Sorry boys, but DMac is not an international 10. He was given the keys in that position throughout most of the domestic international season, but it didn't work. It's time to go back to BB at 10.
@jester9998Күн бұрын
I've been saying this for years. Dmac is not a 10. He's only in the conversation due to we desperately need a backup 10 for Mounga. Even if he plays at fullback, it doesn't feel safe playing there. Sometimes he did something big and sometimes he made some errors that could cost us the game. He's truly a double edged sword. Whether you win entirely, or not.

Second row got smoked against England earlier in the year without Vaa'i. Doubt the coaches will forget that. Personally would prefer to see Patty in the second row with Vaa'i and Scott Barrett at 6. Though in reality, he may not be dynamic enough as a 6.

Once again something that nobody mentions with the abs…..is the failure to let our youth have ago, Once upon a time we would unleash our newboys . Mark my words, 2 losses likely and 3 quite possible on this tour. The All Blacks are wildly inconsistent, impatient and lacking in attention to detail. I am sure these pundits will blow smoke up the back sides of our players, though, ensuring this now 6 year cycle of mediocrity yields no improvement in standards or sense in selection policy. Bravo, Mark Robertson, for your stubborn ignorance to the workings of modern professional sport.

That’s not quite true. Yes there has always been the phenomenal talent but there was a psychological element there too. Teams were beaten before they even took the field. They didn’t actually believe they could win.

The Abs got their expected result with the expected margin of victory Don't think too many players put their hands up for selection against England Perhaps W.SITITI All in all i wasn't overly impressed with the ABs performance truth be told Alot to work on still Even after how many weeks of being together? Also England's 1st up tackles need to be good So they can win or/slow the breakdown ball and really pressure the ABs They don't look comfortable in defence and are very prone in making mistakes and panicking when the pressure comes on

I think it's unfair to bring AB's back for the NPC final if they haven't been involved throughout the campaign. It would be really unfair on the players that have contributed through the season only to sit out the final for AB's that walk straight back in. But it would be cool to have AB's feature in the NPC more but that's unrealistic due to burn out and injuries. The AB's need fresh players for the end of year tours.

So much hate for JK and Goldie but it's really the "fans" who are the ones with the problem there. These guys know and understand the game better than anyone commenting here. They've played at the highest level and they are close to the players and teams and have the inside word at times. You don't need to agree with everything they say but some of the hate, name calling and insults shows how ugly a lot of people are.

The only thing that has been consistent under Razor has been the inconsistency throughout the games in terms of performance. The team has been playing in patches well but overall you get the feeling that they have underperformed. Will be interesting to see if anyone (ie. Proctor) gets a chance to start against one of England, France or Ireland. We learn nothing about the inexperienced players when we see them perform well against Japan or Fiji.
@KernowekTimКүн бұрын
Play Proctor, I reckon. He needs as much Int game time exposure as possible heading towards RWC 2027.

@rugbyanalyst1 no but sititi and Cane are a team players cane has been in our starting team for the longest he was there for leadership, he was going to start against England anyway. Sititi he already had a start spot for England they just wanted to experiment him at 8. The people who were competing for positions are the locks, Tuipulotu put his hand up for selection against England he will likely be on the bench. Alb and proctor I don't think they put their hand up to start as center so one of them will be benching England. The wingers were competing to start England because razor wants Jordan at 15. Dmac got another chance but gave razor another reason to start beaudy due to inconsistency.
