For me I don't think it was a good decision by epic to let them continue playing. During the Fall Skirmish FunkBomb was banned for the entirety of the tournament because he accidentally ghosted. ( Fortnite told people participating they should go back to lobby and watch on Twitch Stream to lessen the load on servers). Because of the zero latency from game and stream , funk told natehill the healthy of a person who then dies. It was unfair to ban Funkbomb from the tournament and not the same for XXIF and Ronaldo, who were left off with a 2 week suspension.

This would be the punishment I would have given in epics scenario. - Wipe every point they got that week - Ban the players for about 2 weeks (so they still have time to qualify legit) - Temp-Disable their tournament or cash Cup earnings or reduce them by a certain percentage - Have their gameplay watched at all times during main-scale events.
