This was the best sermon I’ve heard in YEARS! and I’m a preacher. Just happened to look up this scripture because the church calendar recommended it. I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Today (October 13, Pentecost 18), this was our Gospel of the Day. This passage is usually read at Thanksgiving services, also. And it is on the horizon. And remember, if you enjoyed your meal, thank GOD, a farmer for growing it, and a truck driver for delivering it. And don't put down farmers with a mouth full of food. It's personal to me as both of my beloved grandfathers made their living by farming.

This message is awesome. I thank God for the life of Pastor Jenkins Snr. I am a believer of the Bible and I am NOT surprised that there are many preachers who don't teach well enough. I count Pastor Jenkins among a select very very few ministers who really teach The Word well...doesn't matter how people will feel about it, once it's the word of God he says it as it is: NOW that's Boldness and Confidence from ABOVE. I would rather be saved spiritually - as a leper, rather than healed physically and spend eternity in hell. Nine healed, one saved! Priest was like health inspector, deemed them clean, so they could see family, go to work again.. Lepers lost their sense of pain due to loss of nerve damage... What's worse. Having no sense of God or no sense of pain? We're they really healed? One leper was healed spiritually.
