Fun fact: pilot Thomas actually got scrapped, as for the Marklin engine, he got scrapped, too, in season 3, they where starting to have more, and, more, so, they found no point in using him, anymore.

I do believe that the original Thomas model is at Mattel's UK headquarters, The Porter Building in Slough, England.

That's only a rumour lol, it's very likely to be true, but all we know is that it was considered to be in some cancelled s25 episode before AEG was greenlit so it is in Mattel's hands in some way I guess

Well, just his original model, his brass model made for the movie is at hara and 3 extra brass models made for the special "the great discovery" are on display at explore the rails and Drayton Manor respectively (2 at explore the rails, 1 at drayton)

Thomas's plastic model could be in storage around late 2021 and early 2022 i heard rumors that the model itself is in mattels HQ somewhere in there office i did thought percy would also be there but after seeing his condition after being purchased by thomastankmerch i do think that thomas's model is just in storage and kinda in the same condition as percy.

The props ThomasTankEngineMerch and Mattel/Sam Wilkinson has aren't the same ones from the original 80s/90s show, they are rebuilds by HiT. The pilot Thomas and Gordon were referbished for S2 then turned into scrap props for subsequent later seasons. The whereabouts of the originals are either unknown or have been bin'd

The Thomas prop’s location has been apparently confirmed, and it’s not in a good place. It turns out to be at Drayton Manor, as the model there has features only the Perspex model had, such as certain proportions on cab windows, dome and funnel. Quite sad really.

Most of the backdrops and grass were thrown away around season 2, Everything else was preserved for use intill season 12, Some of the buildings, and tracks were donated to drayton manor and HARA, some of the structures were sold or given away to crew members. The rest were thrown away. likely because HIT thought they had no value.
