Batty Definitely have reason to! I’m also wondering if that nurse knows what her carelessness cost.
@sarahwithstars4 жыл бұрын
It's not even suing a nurse for "making a mistake" is it. It's not "carelessness" It is suing a nurse for the fucking defiance when asked "please change your gloves before you touch me again" And she said no And poor Christina passed out and couldn't fight back It's fucking assault

I’m a medical assistant and can’t even begin to tell you how irate I am with the way you were treated. I’m disgusted by the fact that the nurse used contaminated gloves to access your port. It doesn’t matter what procedure you are doing, it is basic knowledge that once you leave the field you’re working in that you dispose of your gloves and put on new ones when you re-enter. Not to mention that accessing a port or Hickman line is supposed to be done in a sterile manner. I’m so sorry for the domino effect of things you’ve had to go through in the past year. I’m so happy you’re back though!

Ikr this video is so infuriating as to how she was treated!! Its bad enough to have to go through all these surgeries and health issues in the first place, and doctors and nurses should be there to HELP not make things worse oml. Sadly I am hearing this from almost everyone I talk to who has a chronic illness. I also have PTSD from the way I have been treated by medical personnel. It's definitely become "a thing". They are over worked and underpaid and their impatience doesn't make things go any faster. It only causes accidents and mistakes and horrible bedside manner that leaves us in a worse situation especially when it comes to trust. I'm sorry we're all dealing with this and I wish there was a way to navigate it. When we lay our fragile lives in the hands of these professionals, we don't have a choice in the matter. When that trust is violated it causes us to make dangerous decisions such as not going for help at all. My PTSD has resulted in me avoiding the appointments I need to make and go to and I wind up waiting until it's an emergency which then means they don't have my accurate history. Years of being ignored and shrugged off almost killed me just over a year ago and I was fighting for my life in ICU for over a week. Now I'm back in the same boat I was in before, only sicker. I definitely don't see this being addressed anytime soon as I watch the level of concern for patient care go downhill faster and faster. I have also been referred to a psychiatrist for this issue. That was months ago and I still haven't heard from anyone to set up my intake appointment. Go figure.

Just last week I was checking your channel, and checking for you in 20’s and 30’s. SO glad you’re back. Agh. So many emotions. I can’t even express how much I empathize and am horrified at the medical trauma. You’re freakin’ bulletproof. Keep working through it, I’m so glad you have support, but yeah it’s so hard. I have a lot of trauma about the IR “procedures” that 100% were surgeries. The clips with your family on vacation made me tear up, and I’m not the kind of person to get teary, you all deserved that so much. I completely understand why you couldn’t vlog but it’s so good to have you back darling. You truly are sunshine - hence that blanket you made totally encompasses everything you are! :-) I am also constantly running a IV’s, this that and everything else, and yes it seems to be that same vein right near your little pinky finger, which depending on what you’re running through can hurt like magnesium - the list is a lot longer but hey who needs to go there. Not surprised at all that you have PTSD from medical trauma because you have certainly been through a lot in a very short time period. I also have diagnosed PTSD from medical and physical injuries etc but mine has been spaced over the past 20 years. Although in saying that I did spend 11 months straight from age 23 to 24 in hospital. Holy cow woman! I've been worried about you so much! It's so good to see you but it's so sad to see everything that you've been through. I'm not huge on Instagram but if it's what I have to do to start up to date on your life I may have to download that app. We are all behind you and your recovery I understand PTSD, for other reasons but it's still PTSD. -gentle hugs- PS, still not officially an EDSer but I've at least got connective tissue disorder on my chart now(and POTS). (Apparently I didn't meet enough criteria to be considered hEDS, geneticist told me to come back in a year or two and retest) I'm considering seeing another geneticist. But hang in there girly. You're a warrior.

Your strength and perseverance through all of these trials is amazing, and despite them you're still incredibly sweet and thoughtful. Bravo... I hope we get to hear from you again soon.
