When I was a kid, my grandma asked me what my most favorite church song was. I told her that my favorite church song was, "Where Can I Turn for Peace."
Throughout the years, whenever we would have a family gathering with my grandma, she would always mention singing this song to open or close our family home evenings, and I was always so happy knowing that my grandma always remembered what my favorite song was.
When my grandma passed away this past July, my dad told me that she had requested for me to play "Where Can I Turn for Peace" at her funeral, and it just made me tear up. Over 20 years had passed since I told her what my favorite church song was and I couldn't help but cry knowing that she had remembered all this time. It was such an honor to play this song for her at her celebration of life.
I love you so much!
