I know good and well Jimmy isn’t going to read this comment but what I wanna say is this. I used to watch him on tv when I was a kid at my Grandmother’s house. To be honest I didn’t think much of it as a kid. Fast forward and I’m soon to be 53. I’ve been playing guitar since I was a teenager. I stumbled onto one of Jimmy’s video’s on KZbin and I can’t believe how good of a musician he is. He’s got soul! I watched one where he told the band to go back to the 4 (IV) chord. Also start on the 5 chord. Once I heard him say the full chorus and he began to solo over the whole chorus. My point is this. We all know the stories of his past and that may or may not be how it is or was BUT Jimmy Swaggart is an amazing musician. That Can’t be argued. It’s a fact. Just listen to his playing and singing it’s unreal. Hate I missed it all these years. Unbelievable playing Mr. Swaggart! You are so underrated as a player.
