I can't relate at all to the first one. I generally spoil myself as soon as possible. Then again, with games like Kingdom Hearts, I'm more in it for the gameplay than the story. I remember spoiling Birth By Sleep for myself when the original PSP game was a thing since I was never going to get a PSP anyway. I spoiled it for myself... when it was still in Japan. I remember watching someone's stream, fighting Terra's final battle and dying over and over again. I was thinking 'man this Kingdom Hearts is pretty hard'. To be fair, I died quite a few times to Terranort during my playthrough years later as part of 2.5 on the PS3.
