Where did all the Gray Zone Warfare players go?

In today's video I wanted to discuss the possible reasons why Gray Zone Warfare's player count has declined so rapidly since the game released in early access a few months ago. Obviously the game is in early access, but what else contributed to the quick decline of Gray Zone Warfare players?

I agree to all of your reasons, which lowers the playerbase....but personally i think this all did not cost ths lost of over 90% of players. Further more i am absolutly sure is the lack of PvP action. I think at release of the first version, there were a lot PvP gamer in to buy it, just to learn, that PvP is (at this stage of the game) not the focus of developement. Al the issues you pointed out are also effecting the drop of player for sure.....but those are a fragment of the 90% drop.

Many reasons. Devs didn't do shit after release. Claimed hotfixes that didn't fix literally anything. The whole chopper system is total garbage. It's a dam cutscene period. Trying to play a 1 hour session means 20-30 waiting around for choppers. Add vehicles and stop the landing zone garbage. That's also why nobody can play PVP because of landing zone camping. Adding 10 new landing zones did not one fuck all to fix it. Now there's nobody to even do PVP. It's deserted now. Giving them credit for the map is dumb. It's no different than any other extraction as far as map ect. Stop giving them excuses. Its garbage. The A.I. is the worst part. They have done zero to fix A.I. when people were screaming to fix it. Poor roadmap that didn't even come till 3 months late. I payed with 20 other players. Not one of them play at all now. Zero. I have never seen that on any multiplayer game I have ever played. Ever. It's garbage for multiple reasons. No the players are not all coming back. I'll bet $50 right now they never hit over 10,000 ever again.

Personally I’m waiting on more content. Once I maxed out all venders I felt like I had no reason to keep going. Also I’m not looking forward to ai using grenades and cover as accurate as they are now. Also I still have frequent crashes and have by far lost more gear to crashes than actual combat.

I've only had one crash since I tweaked a setting in my BIOS as recommended on the MadFinger/Intel websites to stop the memory leak associated with the Unreal Engine/Texture compression system.

Im not going to play it till they fix cpu temps alot of users are having, reaching 90c on machines with the best cooling you can buy is not acceptable.

The game is so poorly optimized and feels terrible. Barely ever going over 60fps on my 4070 super. lol

With a 4090 i13900k and 64gbs ram using dlaa at 1440p i get like 100fps
