I have a cool second hand Biscotti story: my friends dad was in a bar when he walked in. Her dad said he asked for a show of hands, who was a Redskins fan and who was going to root for the newly established Ravens. He bought everyone who raised their hands for the Ravens a round of drinks.

A few things on the 49ers. Eddie Debartolo Jr got his money from his father, a real estate developer who created the "Strip Mall." He was extorted for $400,00 by the Governor of Louisiana Edwin Edwards to get a casino license. The FBI had been investigating Edwards at the time, and busted Eddie for not reporting the extortion. Thus the NFL suspended him for 2 years, so he turned the team over to his sister Denise York, as he took over control of the family business. Denise has since turned control over to her son Jed York.

The Lions yes it's obvious the late owner William Clay Ford was a bigwig for the Ford motor company. However after he passed his wife Martha Ford took over as owner and her dad started and owned Firestone. So there was a heavy source of income from both sides.

Allow me to do your job for you: Detroit Lions: Martha Firestone Ford, widow of William Clay Ford (grandson of Henry Ford). Her grandfather, Harvey Firestone, founded Firestone Tire and Rubber Company. She's done a much better job of running the team than her husband; most notable move was hiring Bob Quinn as general manager, who was director of pro scouting for the New England Patriots. Quinn then hired Patriots defensive coordinator Matt Patricia as head coach.

I really love this video. Sometimes I feel like that 'm not in a stable job or situation but when you show me about these origin stories about NFL owners a lot of them use outside the box ways to obtain large amounts of money 2 make a dream like owning an NFL team possible. Although a lot of these methods to make money are considered evil in my opinion like drilling for oil or being a slum Lord it shows even if you do something like that you can do something afterwards that inspires or helps people like on an NFL team. Not saying that an NFL team is truly beneficial but it brings joy to people and brings people together and give people something to talk about and bond with.... how many Fathers and sons connect because of these evil people doing evil things to make something possible. Guess in order for something good to happen something bad has to happen
