Unfortunately this doesn't allow you to break out of the parent section, which I believe was possible before the update. You can do this setting the min-width to 100vw in CSS and then compensating for the existing margins with negative margins. Though view-port units come with their own issues (especially on older browsers), so be sure to check the page on different browsers and sizes.
